André Gingras Dance Works Rotterdam

From March 1, 2010 André Gingras takes over the artistic direction of Dance Works Rotterdam. This new collaboration allows Gingras to expand, intensify and ground his work nationally and internationally. Gingras/DWR plans to enter into a direct dialogue with the region of Rotterdam, to team up with institutions for architecture, science, technology and urban culture, and to develop international projects in which topical moral dilemmas are coupled with energetic, explosive physicality and absurd humour.

After nine years of presenting his work on a freelance basis through Korzo Productions -achieving a remarkable series of international successes - and two years through his independent organization, in collaboration with producing partner Korzo Productions and presentation platform de Melkweg, André Gingras looks forward to the new challenges of this new collaboration.
